Course Descriptions:

FOR YOUNG CHILDREN

1. Pre-School Dance Program (Age 3-6)

A program that consists of Ballet, Jazz & Tap, specially created for boys & girls, introducing small children to the magic and fun of mime, music, movement and dance. We utilize delightful music & songs for learning and awakening imagination. The program includes activities that will enable the children to explore space, to develop musicality and to improve co-ordination. Some benefits of this program include, but are not limited to, the development of listening and social skills, improvement of fine and gross motor skills and the development of self expression.

2. Teach & practice basic academic skills in math and language.
3. Teach basic movement concepts & dance movements.

FOR CHILDREN & TEENS

1. ATOD Hip Hop for Kids/Junior/Senior (Minimum age 5 & above, No age limit)

Street dance at its best! This is the groundbreaking hip hop syllabus by ATOD (Australian Teachers of Dancing Limited). Always energetic and fun, the focus is on getting the groove, stretching and isolations. The structure of the program progresses systematically and builds strength, energy and dynamic. It encourages individuality, style and improvisation throughout.
There is an option for student to be assessed.

2. ATOD Jazz Moves (Minimum age 6 & above, No age limit)
A fun yet structured way of learning Jazz. New innovative system of training encompasses all styles from foundation Jazz to the very latest moves. With an emphasis on proper methods of strengthening and increasing the flexibility of a young dancer in a fun, encouraging and positive environment, the jazz syllabus incorporates a comprehensive warm-up; stretches; floor and corner work including turns, kicks and jumps; combinations, progression and dances.
There is an option for student to be assessed.

3. RAD Ballet (Minimum age 6 & above, No age limit)
We offer Royal Academy of Dance examinations in classical ballet suitable for everyone from young children starting out in dance classes to students aspiring to become professional dancers. There are no upwards age limits on any examinations or presentation classes and a syllabus has been designed for both male and female candidates at all levels progresses systematically.
The syllabus consists of three different components; classical, free movement and character dance.
ClassicalThe Classical work is the foundation and the most important part of the Syllabi.
Free movement
The free movement section incorporates movements in common with other dance styles such as natural movement, contemporary based dance and Greek dance.
Character dance
Character dance is the theatrical presentation of national dance using original ethnic dance and music which has been freely adapted for the theatre. There are three styles - Hungarian, Russian and Polish - and these were selected because of their historic importance in the development of the traditional full-length classical ballets.

4. Dancers’ Fitness: Floor-Barre Remix (For teens & adult dancers)
Exercises specially targeted for dancers to build a solid foundation, improve technique and enhance their artistic expression.

2. ADULT BALLET (Beginners/ Refresher)
It doesn’t matter if ballet passed you by the first time around, because our beginners’ classes are for beginners of any age. We never believe it is too late. Ballet helps posture and flexibility, improves suppleness and grace, relaxes tension and releases new sources of energy. Let us introduce you to a new exhilarating way to get fit, tone up, feel wonderful and enjoy yourself!

What if you have done ballet before? No matter at what level you discontinued, this is a course for you to re-learn and gain new insights out of the ballet technique. You will love ballet again!

3. ADULT JAZZ MOVES/ HIP HOP (Beginner/Elementary)
